PETER STRYKES sings ROBBY VALENTINE
Coming Thursday December 17th Peter Strykes and Robby Valentine will play a special pop/classic show in Hellevoetsluis. Other guests at this event include Valentine guitarist Cyril Whistler (who will perform on his acoustic violtar) and Marlies (known from the Valentine song ‘Save Myself’).

VALENTINE ‘Androgenius’ is finally available on vinyl.
In cooperation with specialized vinyl label Tonefloat (known from Steven Wilson / Porcupine Tree / No-Man releases) from Rotterdam a strictly limited edition of ‘Androgenius’ is released on 180grs yellow vinyl.
We’re talking a special version of ‘Future?’, the 1st cd of ‘ANDROGENIUS’ which is now for sale at VALENTINE shows and through Tonefloat www.tonefloat.com

| The release show on May 21st was an evening to remember. We were proud to have Valentine’s first guitarist Rob Winter on stage with us to perform ‘No Turning Back’ and ‘Over And Over Again’. Jeff Scott Soto came in all the way from the U.K. and did a magical version of Queens ‘Love of My Life’ together with Robby. And it was a huge thrill for the band sharing the stage with Jeff to perform ‘No turning back’ together. |

There was the debut of ‘The Robettes’( Tammy & Maria Catharina ) who spiced up the show with their sexy dance act for ‘What in the world I’m waiting for’ and ‘Rock me like a hurricane’. Last but not least we couldn’t have done the show without Peter Strykes and Marlies Schuitemaker, who are an important part of the Valentine family as are our soundman Laurens Evers and number one guitartech Kristoffer Gildenlöw.
A big THANK YOU to the staff and volunteers of ‘De Boerderij’ in Zoetermeer for their big help and support to make the cd release show a blast to play and a huge success! Thank you to the camera crew of John Vis and René Berkouwer. And of course, YOU, the fans, where would we be without you? Thank you for your support and love for Valentine’s music. Hope to see you all at one of the other Valentine shows!

The maxi single contains 3 versions of the song. The regular version, the radio edit, the semi-acoustic version and a brand new unreleased track :
‘THE LONESOME ROAD’. For starters the single will be available during the live concerts. |

Presales for ANDROGENIUS are going fantastic, reactions on the return of Valentine are encouraging and very positive. Very soon we’ll have many more news because a lot is happening at the moment.
Preparations for the release show on May 21st are going smoothly and the show will be recorded for a future DVD and live CD, so better be there and make a lot of noise !! Tell everybody, there’s also ‘normal’ tickets for sale for the CD release show. More information here: cultuurpodiumboerderij.nl

Besides the special guests at the ‘Boerderij’- show you can also witness a brand new musical instrument invented by Valentine guitarist Cyril Whistler. He recently made headlines in the Dutch media with his invention of the VIOLTAR, a violin that also sounds like a guitar. People who attended the Valentine show in Kerkrade last year already saw the instrument in action. During the upcoming show Cyril will demonstrate the violin-guitar and you will be amazed.
