14. August 2006

Here´s the updated tracklist for VALENTINE´s next studio Album "Falling down in
Misanthropolis", still slated for an european FRONTIERS release somewhere later
this year.

1. Falling Down
2. Just A Dream (Someone Sold The World)
3. 4th Rate Razorback
4. Save Myself  < new mp3 !
5. Rock Me Like A Hurricane
6. April Fool
7. Here
8. The Bitter Escape
9. S.O.S.
10. Flick Of The Wrist
11. Show Your Face
12. Searching Forever

This adds two more songs to the formerly known tracklist with one being the QUEEN
cover FLICK OF THE WRIST. Here´s what Robby says about the inclusion of this tune:

"I never wanted to record a Queen song, can't do it better anyway. But
since I did ABBA's SOS for this album I felt obliged to do it, just for once. Because
Queen VS ABBA in the 70's was like The Beatles VS The Stones in the 60's.
Hmmm.. silly reason ...I just felt like doing it. And Flick Of The Wrist is one of my
favorite non hit-singles by Queen"

Besides the Finishing of FALLING DOWN (again being mastered by Robbies old
SPOILED BRATS buddy Peter "Pidi" van´t Riet) Robby currently got back to working
again on his Project with Peter Strykes + writing and recording more for the KX3
venture. For this Keiko Kumagai will come to Holland in a few months to record her
Keyboard parts.

preview soundbytes for the japan Bonustracks on THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PAIN
were just added in the discography section + Robby extended his album comments
and gave some additional insights.

1. June 2006

Just like in the old days when VALENTINE´s first 3 albums where still released on
2 different continents now again with the forthcoming release of THE MOST
BEAUTIFUL PAIN overseas UNIVERSAL JAPAN requested the submission of extra
Bonustracks. So the japanese version of PAIN will include even 3 previously
unreleased songs with THE WAY TO EUPHORICA, CANT TAKE NO MORE and
HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT.

Last sunday Robby joined the other original members of L I N E for a special Reunion
gig organised as a surprise for the singer´s 50th birthday party. They performed 4
songs including their big 1986 hit SOLITARY NIGHT.

EXPERIENCE have been added to the media section + the official Music Videos
are now replaced by much better looking (master-)versions.

06. March 2006

UNIVERSAL JAPAN at last put an end to the endless seeming state of uncertainty
when they finally decided to release THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PAIN in Japan as well
on June 7th 2006. So, this time around Europe will have the album in stores more
than 2 months earlier.  :o)

27. February 2006

Hey everyone !!!  This is Robby.
10.000 visitors already in such a short period of time, that calls for a
little celebration.  And that without even being in the Google ranking yet.
Thank you so much for your visit(s) to the site.
And a huge THANK YOU to all of you who'd posted such heart-warming messages
in the guestbook.  You can't imagine how much they mean to me. Thank You !
You know, working on several albums the past 4 years, without any of them
seeing the light of day, made me feel like I didn't exist anymore. It made
me call my next album "Who Killed Robby Valentine ?"
I know, it's pathetically pretentious.  But in a way I feel reanimated now.

Thanks to you ! Thanks to the great site Michael created!
And see things start to move. 'TMBP' will be out in March. 'Falling Down In
Misanthropolis'(who Killed..?)  after the summer. And 3 previous albums also
this year.  And in Japan the albums will be released soon.
Please check out the news section from time to time for the exact release
dates, and for possible upcoming live-gigs.
I promise I'll be on stage again this year. Whatever it takes !
And I really, really need you to be there !

All the very best,
Robby
