Unfortunately the upcoming 2nd tryout gig in Leeuwarden, Friesland on Dec 16th
has been cancelled or rather postponed to a yet unclear date in the future.
Nevertheless the first concert in Enkhuizen went along great and was well
received by the audience. For the last 3 songs Marlies´ Bandmates joined in for
the accoustic guitar versions. Here are some visual impressions from that evening.

Currently plans are made for a possible 2008 'Theatre Tour' in support of
DELECTRIFIED; Robby's recent musical collaboration with Marlies.
Robby and Marlies plus a third musician will perform acoustic versions of both
their repertoir (so, VALENTINE songs will be part of the setlist as well !).
Over the next two months some try outs are held in The Netherlands at the
following venues:
23 Nov. 2007: 21:00 Cayen - Enkhuizen, Noord Holland
16 Dec. 2007: 15:00 Muziekcentrum de Schaaf - Leeuwarden, Friesland
21 Dec. 2007: 20.00 Ramona's - Medemblik, Noord Holland
If you happen to be anywhere near, this could be your chance to catch one of
the very first live performances of VALENTINE material on dutch ground after
more than 11 years (!!)

Robbys musical venture with friend Peter Strykes has finally found its way to
completition. As the now official title "Peter Strykes sings Robby Valentine"
already implies, the album consists of compositions arranged and (apart from 2
Chopin/Beethoven interpretations) written by Robby, while Peter Strykes handled
most of the lead vocals. Right now the plan is to have it officially released around
spring 2008 - more details follow soon. In the meantime you can listen to these 4
selected songpreviews to get an idea of the albums direction.

Furthermore the already announced accoustic Mini Album DELECTRIFIED got
released in August. Sadly the Album is still only availiable nationwide in dutch Plato
Chain Stores - but Marlies is already working on options to have it availiable for
international orders via her site marliesmusic.com. Stay tuned for updated info on

After contributing harmony vocals to the last EDENBRIGDE Album, Robby will be on
board for the upcoming one as well - again lenting his trademark "Valentine Choir".
Recordings are about to take place by the end of this month.

Accompanying the recent release of FALLING DOWN IN MISANTHROPOLIS in
Japan, UNIVERSAL MUSIC featured an in depth Album Synopsis including Liner
notes on their japanese website. We´ve just added an english version to the
discography section + 3 more FDIM songsamples to round things up.

Currently Robby is busy producing the Debut Album of Singer MARLIES
(who became known for reaching 4th place at the TV-show "Dutch Idol" in 2004).
He wrote most of the songs for the Album as well. Additionally Robby is also
working on the completition of a "mini Album" called "DELECTRIFIED" which will
basically consist of accoustic versions to some songs of the upcoming MARLIES
Album. Plans are to release this EP ahead of the actual Album; functioning as
some sort of appetizer + to introduce various songs in a slightly "different light".
For that same reason a little video was recently filmed of what will most likely be
the first single of the album.

It´s official at last !! The new VALENTINE Album Falling Down In Misanthropolis will be finally released in Japan on June 27th through Universal. Have a first look at the Album´s Cover Artwork + check out the just added preview-mp3 for the track Searching Forever.
